Private Wine Drivers has a first class reputation for providing quality service.  We employ experienced wine professionals with a combined 25 years of experience. They are knowledgeable about local wine and the wine making process, geography, and area history. Let us help you create your itinerary for the day based on your preferences. Our vast knowledge, experience, and relationships with others in the industry allow us to provide suggestions that are sure to result in an enjoyable tour.

All tour directors are fully trained, insured, take a pre-employment drug screening, and undergo a background check.

RYAN McGORRY  / Owner

Ryan came to Sonoma County in 2004 to finish his business degree at Sonoma State University and quickly fell in love with the wine country and wine. With a major in wine business management, he began his career in the wine industry working at various boutique family owned and operated wineries in hospitality and sales. After a few years he realized that wine tasting is about more than just wine, it’s about the whole experience in wine country, which he loves to share with guests on their visit.

Ryan has been conducting wine tours in Napa and Sonoma counties since 2011. Let Ryan customize your day utilizing his knowledge and connections in the wine country. He is warm and welcoming and will make you feel at home.

BRUCE MARINACE / Certified Tour Director

Bruce, a native New Yorker, has lived in the Bay Area for more than 40 years. He was an I.T. Project Manager in Silicon Valley until 2004, when he moved to Wine Country to be with his beautiful wife and their two kids.

Bruce is a certified tour director from I.T.M.I. (International Tour Management Institute). He has given several tours of the S.F. Bay Area, and now focuses exclusively on Napa Valley and Sonoma. He has been a wine tour guide for more than six years and has been to over 250 wineries in the area. His style is to show more than just the wineries. He likes to give options to his clients on what additional items to see and know about, as it is quite common that after spending a day with Bruce, you will realize that while the wine is wonderful, there is so much more to see and do. Often clients come back and expressly ask for Bruce and his recommendations. You leave Wine Country with more knowledge and the desire to return.
